Living in Utah this time of year should be cold and snowy. But for some
reason winter has not really been around much this year. On the first
weekend of February it was rather unseasonably warm. Which worked in our
favor and made for a perfect day to shoot outside. I collaborated with an
amazing team: Photography by Brit Chudleigh, Florals by Tinge, concept and
styling by Saucy & Kitch and Allie Couch. The shoot was featured in
Saltlakebride.com today. I wanted to share the juicy details. Enjoy 🙂
Queen Of Hearts: Valentines + Vines Inspiration Shoot
Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but we’re still feeling the love thanks to this pretty little inspiration shoot byTinge Floral and Saucy & Kitsch, photographed by Britt Chudleigh. A wall of verdant vines, a hint of red hearts, and a simply beautiful bride—we’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
Hair and makeup artist Gabby Gabbitas beautified the “bride,” aka Tess Comrie (who bakes cakes and makes music when she’s not killing it in front of the camera). She focused on fuss-free hair and natural-looking makeup for a fresh look.
Gabbitas styled Comrie’s tresses into an effortless chignon. For the face, she first applied illuminator to the skin to create a dewy glow, followed by soft eye makeup. For a pop of color, she painted Comrie’s pout with a bright pink shade: Funny Face by NARS, one of her favorite lip colors for spring .
We heart this shoot. Thanks for sharing it with us, ladies!
